SJVN Limited, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, was incorporated in 1988 as a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Starting with India’s largest 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station, SJVN has grown into a multi-state and international power producer, operating projects in hydro, thermal, solar, and wind energy across India and Nepal. With a vision of becoming a 25,000+ MW company by 2040, SJVN is driving India’s clean energy transition.
